I purchased 2 of the Tortoiseshell 18” tape in wefts. The hair is so soft and luxurious and the color is such a beautiful match to mine. I watched various how-to videos and followed the application instructions on the website to make sure I did it very neat and correct. I used the one sided tape and made sure not to go too close to my scalp and hairline. I felt confident that I followed the instructions to the T, yet I simply could not stand the feeling of these extensions on my head. I thought maybe I would get used to them but I just couldn’t take the pulling feeling. My scalp was achy. I got through the day but trying to get comfortable to sleep with these on my head was a struggle. I’m concluding that I just have a sensitive scalp. Lol. If you can relate, perhaps these tape-ins are not for you. After 24hrs I used alcohol to take them out and it was such a relief. The hair is so beautiful though and I know how to sew so I just removed the glue and sewed the wefts onto some mesh fabric and made my own halo. I had a leftover clear band and clips from another halo I have. After years of using different extensions I’m convinced that the halo is the least damaging. Though the glue in method was not for me, I will still get so much use out of this fabulous hair!
